CPI training in Switzerland
HI5 Safe Spaces (HumanImpact5-Hi5 LLC) is CPI’s Approved Training Centre (ATC) for Switzerland, holding an exclusive licence to deliver the following CPI programmes within Switzerland. Training is currently available in English and French, with additional language options planned as programmes are localised and approved.
The programmes are delivered by CPI-certified instructors : Eric Druliolle, Espace Prévention Santé, and Gabrielle Landry Chappuis, Hi5 Safe Spaces.

CPI Verbal Intervention™

The CPI Verbal Intervention™ programme teaches professionals how to recognise escalating behaviour and respond effectively using evidence-based verbal de-escalation strategies. The programme focuses on prevention, communication and relationship-based approaches to reducing risk before a crisis develops.
The skills learned can be applied across a wide range of workplace and care environments.
Course Format
- 1 day (6.5 hours active learning)
- Delivered at HI5 Safe Spaces or client premises
- Maximum 18 participants
- Interactive exercises, roleplay, videos, and sector-specific scenarios
- Participant workbook
- Written assessment
- Certification valid for 2 years

CPI Safety Intervention™ Foundation

This certification programme is designed for organisations whose staff may need to prevent, manage, and respond to crisis situations involving risk behaviours.
The programme combines CPI Verbal Intervention™ techniques with non-restrictive and restrictive safety interventions where these are supported by organisational policy and applicable regulatory requirements.

CPI Safety Intervention™ Advanced
The Advanced programme is designed for organisations supporting individuals who may present higher-risk or more complex behaviours. It provides additional intervention options, decision-making frameworks, and risk-management strategies for challenging situations.
CPI Safety Intervention™ Advanced & Emergency
This programme builds on Advanced training and includes additional emergency response techniques for situations involving significant risk.
Please note: These programmes are not currently available through HI5 Safe Spaces. Instructor certification is planned for 2026, after which programme availability will be reviewed and announced. Access to these programmes will remain subject to CPI certification requirements and programme approval.
